In this THROWBACK episode Coach Gaglione discussed some strategies he personally used to peak his squat to hit his final goal of squatting 800 lbs in the 198 class.

Typically in a peaking phase you want to bring a lot of intensity to your program while dropping volume that way you can stimulate your nervous system while dropping fatigue so you can perform your best on game day. There are many ways to "skin a cat" this is what coach Gaglione has found works best for him as well as his team members. 

He outlines the thought process behind these methods and how you can apply to your own program when looking to peak for contest.
